Pricing
One plan. Per site.
Everything is included. The only choice is whether you pay monthly or save two months by paying for the year.
Always included
- Fifteen technical checks with their fixes, re-run with every plan refresh
- Your sitemap submitted and every page watched in Search Console, so you know which of your pages Google is showing and which it is skipping — and anything it skips comes back on your list with the button that asks again
- Title tags and descriptions for your existing pages, drafted for your approval and applied to WordPress, Shopify or Webflow
- Quick wins: articles Google already shows just off the first page get a sharper title and opening for that exact search, with your approval, and the position is measured after 14 and 28 days
- 30 articles a month (daily), or weekdays / weekly if you prefer a slower pace
- 1,500–2,500 words each: brief, live research with sources, draft, editor pass, cover image
- Thirty-topic plan from real searches, refilled automatically, editable by you
- Approval queue or auto-publish; unlimited edits, rewrites and exports
- WordPress, Shopify, Wix, Webflow, Ghost, Sanity, Supabase, a signed webhook or an RSS feed: wherever your site lives
- On Squarespace or Framer, where no tool can write at all: the article formatted to paste in, cover and meta tags with it, in about two minutes
- FAQ schema, internal links to your own pages, and the title tag and meta description Google shows
- Weekly AI-visibility check: does ChatGPT-style search recommend you, and who instead
- Email when an article is ready, when it publishes, and when something needs you
- A monthly report of what Google did: visits, where you come up, and what we changed
Meant clients: included with every retainer. Use your code at checkout or ask your contact at Meant.
Against the alternatives
What the same month buys elsewhere.
| SEO agency retainer | Freelance writer | Meant SEO | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Monthly cost | $3,000–$8,000 | $150–$400 per article | $99 ($79 yearly) |
| Articles a month | 4–8 | As many as you brief and pay for | 30 |
| Research on your business | Once, at kickoff | Whatever you send | Every article, from your site and a live search |
| Sitemap, Search Console, page titles | Looked at once | Not their job | Watched and chased, every day |
| Publishing | Sometimes | You do it | Automatic, onto your own site |
| Contract | 3–12 months | Per piece | Any month |
| You see every article | Monthly report | Yes | Yes, before it publishes if you want |
Agency figures are typical published retainers for small-business SEO; they buy strategy, technical work and links as well as writing. Meant SEO is the writing and publishing, done daily. For the rest, Meant does it by hand.
Questions about paying
Is there a free trial?+
Better: a free article. Add your site, and we research it, plan thirty topics and write the first piece with no card on file. Subscribe when you have read it.
Per site?+
Yes. One subscription runs one website on a daily cadence. Agencies and multi-brand owners add each site separately; write to us for five or more.
What does yearly cost up front?+
$948, billed once, which works out to $79 a month: two months free against monthly.
Can I change my mind?+
Cancel any month from the billing page. Monthly plans run to the end of the paid month. Yearly plans cancelled within 14 days are refunded pro rata; after that they run to the end of the year.
Is there a refund if the articles are bad?+
If the first month does not deliver what the plan promised, tell us within 14 days and we refund it, no argument. You keep the articles.
I am a Meant client. Do I pay?+
No. Every Meant retainer includes Meant SEO for the sites we build or market. Use the code in your welcome note at checkout, or ask your contact at Meant to switch it on.
Are there usage limits?+
Daily cadence is 30 articles a month per site, and we cap a site at 31 in any month as a safety limit. Rewrites of an existing article do not count.
Which taxes apply?+
Prices are in US dollars. VAT or sales tax is added at checkout where your country requires it, and your invoice carries your tax ID if you enter one.
